CICSS Speaks at the GACSA Annual Forum in Rome

CICSS Director Allison Chatrchyan and Program Manager Danielle Eiseman are heading to Rome this week to participate in panel discussions with GACSA – The Global Alliance for Climate Smart Agriculture.  Panels will address topics ranging from youth engagement in climate smart agriculture to the role of subnational action on driving climate smart agriculture adoption policies.  Allison’s panel will exchange ideas for developing an environment that enables farmers to impart climate smart agriculture practices.  Danielle will speak on sharing knowledge of climate change and best management adaptation practices, citing the effectiveness of CICSS’s decision making tools.  Collaborations through the Food and Agriculture, GACSA aims to forge climate smart agriculture networks to increase farmer resilience to climate change worldwide.
