COP 23 in Bonn, Germany

This November, Cornell University sent delegates to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), Conference of Parties (COP 23), from 6-17 of November. This year marked the 23rd session of the Conference, held in Bonn, Germany and presided over by the Government of Fiji. It also marked the largest Cornell delegation out of the three consecutive years the University has sent a delegation – 11 students, 10 researchers and two staff members.

Funding for COP23 was provided by the Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future, Engaged Cornell, and the Cornell Institute for Climate Smart Solutions.
